Ricardo Zarate, a musician from the city of Lima, started playing the bass at the age of 15 with a group made up of schoolmates, some of whom are currently professional musicians. At the age of 20 he was summoned to teach bass at the "Master Music" Music Academy, that same year the rock group Aliados included him in their ranks for a long 5-year season where he participated in the composition of the arrangements. bass for the band's second album. In 2004 Ricardo Zarate became a teacher at the Yamaha brand music academy. He is also part of various "tribute bands" such as the renowned Space Bee (tribute to Queen and Radio Head), Vertigo (tribute to U2 with Jhovan Tomasevich ex-vocalist of Zen), Believe (official band tribute to Bon Jovi), among others. For 2 years he has been part of the "Tenores y Sopranos" project produced by Mabela Martínez, host of the "Sonidos del Mundo" program. For 10 years he has belonged to the classic rock band "Luna Hiena" with which he has received recognition from the INC for his musical career, bringing good rock to various places in Peru. He participated in the recording of Jhovan Tomasevich's solo album with which he currently performs various presentations in Lima and the provinces. He was the opening act for Joe Satriani in Lima with the band of renowned guitarist Vali Cáceres, he has also supported bands such as Skid Row, L.A. Guns and Dizzi Reed (former keyboard player of Guns N'Roses), forming part of the band that accompanied the singers Ted Poley, vocalist of the legendary band Danger Danger and Terry Ilous, vocalist of the band XYZ.
